Natwest Interest Free Graduate Loan!

Options
Hi, I've just seen the Natwest Interest Free Graduate Loan (see link below)

http://www.natwest.com/personal/student-graduate/g2/graduate-borrowing/graduate-interest-free-loan.ashx

So you get the loan to pay off your interest free overdraft, and set up some regular payments for 3 years.

Am I right in thinking this is a good think even if I dont need the loan to clear my overdraft.

Take the £2k loan, put it into savings, you could even have the standing order coming out of the same account, and after 3 years you've paid back £2k exactly.

Am I missing anything before I sign up?

  • Something to think about... If you take the 'Interest Free Graduate Loan' do they then remove your interest free overdraft? or do you get to keep both and pay off the overdraft as you would normally.
