In my experience there will not be a price difference. There is sometimes confusion between leasehold flats and houses. In a flat you do not own the building and have to contribute to a maintenance fund for repairs etc. In a house you have to do your own maintenance. I would not worry about it, all your neighbours are in the same boat.0

The vast majority of the houses in the town I live in are leasehold, due to the nature of the place. Certainly wouldn't affect value here. However, I would imagine if it's the only leasehold property in a street of freehold ones, it could make adifference.0
