Private landlords

Anyone know of any website to search for private lets Ie not though a agency?

Or any other tips.

    Gumtree is fully of scammers, if it looks too good to be true it is.

    I've rented out property using loot.com and gumtree.com and not had any problems. Really good tenants actually.

    You could try https://www.letalife.com or the website of your local newspaper should have a classifieds section advertising private rentals. Or the window of your local supermarket/Wilko/newsagent? But do check you get a proper contract and your deposit is protected still.
