If it's the same as my A4, which i think it is, it's in the glovebox, you need your car key for it.0

Oh, just checked mine and that deff in glovebox, have you tried posted on http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/home/index.htm that may help.
Not sure if all cars had a switch to turn them off, just googed it and some people are saying that in the earlier models it was a option.0 -
I have a 2000 passat and was going to have to pay £150 to get it turned off.
Was cheaper for me to buy a car seat for the rear seats...0
