Lloyds/TSB accept the DMP but with lower interest rate not zero.
0.482 per month now.
Ends up I'll be paying £39 off the debt per month after interest.
No fees though.
Better than nothing. :j
Only 4 left now but one of them is a biggie with Citibank.

Hi Wad

interestingly, Lloyds did the same with us, however, halifax (same group) said they would still charge interest but aren't, I don't want to draw their attention to this but hope they don't wallop it on at a later date, you just can never tell. Citi were pigs with the OH, moaned they hadn't received anything/everything, we resent it all and they suddenly accepted, stopped interest, the whole lot, so if they moan, send it all again and good luck

My my....its been busy on the thread today......havn't you lot got anything to do.??:rotfl:

And a couple of stalwarts I see........no Nanna, its not the same as a verucca, you can get rid of them.!!:laugh: ( I can't spell verucca either ).. Well done ladies.:T

Mrsi.....that little bit of independence will be great for your OH, from his point of view it can't be a nice feeling to be dependent on someone for even the smallest of things, plus it will give you more time to chat to us. :D

PDD .... good luck on the gold, I sold some about 18 months ago, wish I had waited until now, but needed to sell at that time, it raised us a little bit of cash when we needed it most. :o

The wad....lucky you at least its a lower interest rate.....I've just checked our statement and our interest rate is 1.67% for purchases and 2.07% for cash.....these are monthly rates.!! Nasty Lloyds....no wonder they have rejected our DMP, they are getting £200 per month in interest.

Need coffee....be back soon

Right, I'm back.

Interrogated OH re the £3.60 that has suddenly gone out of the bank....lo and behold , it was him....Carpark he tells me.....and another £3.60 will be coming out for the second day of car park usage..... Now, I know its not a lot of money, but it can make the difference of being overdrawn or not.!!......Can I get him to see this.....NO...:(. We run our current account down to the last penny....I withdraw as much as I can to go into savings and my pots.....there would be money available to transfer for emergencies....if he would give me notice of this......But it slips his mind.!! Not only that, its not gone onto his expenses.!! MEN.!! It's a good job I check the bank everyday, we are with the Co-op and apparently they have a 3 strike rule.....i.e. go overdrawn 3 times and you're out. Since going onto our DMP we have never been overdrawn, and I don't intend to start now. :D

That's it....rant over....need more coffee.

hi all back again, still cold and grey, but I've been vastly entertained for 10-15 minutes watching the antics of a red squirrel who inhabits our garden, what a little cutie.:):):A:):) Yes , Nanna and Elsie, even a little independence back for oh will be great, he is very patient but you are right it is awful for him to have to rely on me for everything, so thanks for the encouragement you all give.:T
If only the banks etc. could be a little bit understanding too, but as we have all found out they are erratic and awkward, even ,sometimes I think, a little bit spiteful, however they dont know they are messing with the mature, tena wearing pole dancing sparkly earringed and belly pierced brigade G@d help them! Yes elsie........ more coffee (and cake)
