Morning stil sn0tting for england, I can hear my sinuses crackling everytime I move my head, neva mind wont last many more days, good job as I have no more toddy ingredient left:eek::eek:
I have just washed a bed throw which stated dry clean only and guess wot? it is absolutely fine so saving dry cleaning bill:j:j.
Carers coming back at 1 today so I might go to bed for the hour see if it helps

Good morning mrsi....sorry to hear that you are still feeling rotten.:( I would seriously go back to bed when the carers arrive and see if you can have a sleep. Even when you do sleep its not helped that you can't breathe because of blocked up nose.!! Get yourself dosed up with something (besides a toddy and not at the same time ):eek::eek:

Glad to hear the throw came out okay. I can't fit mine in the washer and its supposed to be a big drum, so I'm afraid mine will have to go to the dry cleaners.....when I've saved up enough pennies:mad:

Just done the shopping and staying within budget...:T..its becoming easy to do these days....pity it took me nearly 58 years to learn how to do it.!!:o:o

I have had to put the heating on for half an hour this afternoon,:eek: its blooming freezing, still miserable, but at least it has stopped raining.:D

Back again, had a rest at least while carers were in but had to get up when they went, sat huddled in front of the fire, must have looked pitiful tho as dd came in and offered to make me a cup of coffee(insert fainting smiley here)
perhaps I should cultivate the poor me look, who knows what the advantages could be.:rotfl:

it is now very sunny, yooohoo I've got the big shiny orange thing!!! boiling hot now, its always the same every blooming season in one day, it was howling a gale and raining when I went to work, now I am poaching quietly on the deck. Unsuitable clothes!!! Must go and change into something more suitable, (grass skirt and matching jangly bra?????

Miserable, grey and drizzly here. No sight of sun all day but very humid (or could be another hot flush:rotfl:).
Hope your sniffles are getting better Mrs I. Lots of hot toddies should do the trick.
Well done for shopping budget Elsie. I too am improving. As you say we're slow learners:o
PDD - grass skirts and jangly bras sound perfect (our new pole dancing outfit perhaps?)

had abusy day dd son is 6 2mor so twins been baking to take for his party.we did cheescake and choc cake.:)
feel a bit down cos for the last 3yrs we have taken the boys to my brothers caravan in wales
for a week its on a farm and they really look forward to going.He rang up to say ther is nio room this year as his family are using it all summer:(:(
dont think we can afford to rent one hey ho:(
