    Good morning everyone:hello:
The weather doesn't look madly promising here. It will probably be glorious tomorrow when I am back at work but never mind.
We had a lovely weekend family visiting and finally got to meet our new great neice (she arrived at easter) She is absolutely beautiful:jSo cute and the only time she cried was when mum and dad were trying to get her windipops up.
OH has taken today off so I think it may be orange Wednesday today (mind you I will be sneaking the pop in in my handbag, it is ridiculously expensive to buy when you get there)
I hope everyone is keeping well and happy. We seem to be just contentedly plodding along (which some may think is boring but I quite like)
Anyway I think it is time for a nice cup of tea
    Have a lovely day everyone
    Cuddles:)

morning, still wet, washing draping house... easier to live with than a Henry Moore sculpture I suppose. Then again, I could sell the sculpture and pay some debt off. Wanders off mumbling about modern art and washing

    Morning All

Weather is orrible again, DS has arrived safely and I don't think to-day is going to be a ranting day, (of course mail hasn't come yet!).
You all might want to have a look on the first article on Martin's Blog, its about his visit with the government and he put it up for discussion, a few of us have vented about the shabby, shabby practices of the banks to people in debt generally. Kind of realised yesterday that unless you are in debt, you don't know how horrendous it all is, kind of nasty greedy vicious underbelly of banking. Needs to be pushd into the light and a bit of fair regulation thrust right up their noses. God I'm off ranting again..............

Must go long way to go to see my small businessman to-day, but he listens sometimes...............

Hugs to all who feel the need

    Good evening everyone,

Went to dentist. On the way there it was glorious sunshine. By the time I left (after being told I needed filling replaced - which I kinda knew as tooth was feeling tender) rain was lashing down. No umbrella, raincoat, wellies of course so it was a mad dash to the car. Felt a bit like the proverbial drowned rat
Arranged for my filling to take place after next payday - very MSE:)
Took a look at article PDD and agree - it's time banks treated their customer (specially those in debt) less shoddily.
Joined the NSD thread and it really does make me think twice about spending money.
Henry thingy sculptures - now there's a thought. Are there any pole dancing ones?
    :rotfl:

    Hi PDD,

Just popped into Mouseann's thread, quite a lot of virtual drinking going on there, Very quiet on here tonight. I read Martins blog, and agree banks need taking down a peg or two, I don't think any of them have their customers interests at heart.!!

Still a miserable night, where did the sun go??

Nice to see you again Cuddles, hope the job is still going ok,

Hope you are saving up for another filling dmb, its a very expensive but necessary item.

Right, I'm off for a wander around the boards and see what I may be missing out on.

    Bye for now

    Good morning everyone,

This is my second attempt at a message this morning, got half way through the first one and comp decided to switch itself off and install updates. Stupid technology.!!:mad:

Hope you are all well, and what happened to the sun??. Its another miserable dull day, its more like a November morning than a summer one.:(

I've got washing to do and its the heavy stuff, jeans etc.......I don't have a tumble drier, 'cos I don't have the room, plus they are expensive to run, so it will be a case of hanging it on the clothes airer yet again.!!

Sounds like we missed a great party on Mouseann's thread last night, notice we were'nt invited girls.!! Perhaps they thought that we would drink all the booze.;)

Anyway, off for coffee now, will be popping in and out during the day. See you later:D
