    Hi Cuddles

    Nice to see you.

Glad the job is going well, I remember when I started back at work, it took me a while to get used to being on my feet for a full shift....... Are you working full time.

Very MSE, using everything out of the cupboards, but I agree, there comes a point when you simply have to shop again.

    Hi Elsie

Its only 24 hours a week but you work 3 x 8 hr days then a day off and then 3 x 8 hr days (the end of one week and the beginning on the next) and then have a week off and with it being shopwork I am on my feet all of the time so it has been a shock to my poor little feet.:(

I've got till the end of next week now to get myself organized so its time for a little list making I think.

The nice thing about this job is that I will be able to go family visiting occasionally (they all live in the North west) where most shop jobs mean working every weekend.:j

Sorry.....cake has all gone....I think we are down to half a dozen custard creams until shopping day.....

I've just been making Bolognaise ready to freeze a couple of portions, I like bulk cooking, its so much easier especially when there are only 2 of you. I used to love cooking when the family were all at home. :T:T I would stand for hours making bread, cakes etc. OH says he still eats.......so can I still bake.!:rotfl::rotfl:

I work 3 x 7 hour shifts, and as you say, by the end of my shift my legs are killing me. I'm lucky 'cos I start early morning and so have usually finished by around 3pm.

You will be looking forward to visiting family in the near future then Cuddles.

    Congrats on job Cuddles.

Love your avatar Nanna. Do you think our thread has the most avatars?

Just to set the record straight I'm the pole dancer with the boa feather round her neck.

Throat's a bit ticklish, eyes feel a bit heavy - hope paracetemol and a good night's sleep will do the trick. I do not want to be under the weather when the weekend promises to be 'ice-cream' weather.:j
