    Morning All,

Just off for my last day at work. Love the pic Nanna, I want to be the blonde one but her legs are not as long as mine:rotfl:

On the DMP front getting cross now:mad: all that time I spent doing the budget and sending letters other than one proper acknowledgement the rest are just sending letters saying the last payment is over due. Still waiting for the penny to drop, oh well onwards and upwards.

Have a good day everyone x

    Hi Julie,

Are you doing a self managed DMP..? We were with Payplan, and it did take a couple of months for the penny to drop with creditors. Possibly, because they only hear what they want to hear, and always think that if they ignore it, you will magically come up with the money.!!

I am supposed to be doing housework etc, so must get on, but have a good day at work. You never know we may still be around when you get back home.

    Have a good day

    :DHi all:j

Just popping in to say hi to all the newbies - & oldies of course:D No sun here yet:mad: Probably the weather knows we have to go get our car from the garage today - & part with £1000+ for the repair. But get this - whilst it's been there since Monday, they've rung us twice - once to tell us we have a worn camshaft -- & they'll do that if we like whilst it's stripped down. No labour charge, it will 'just' be £500 on top. I rang the guy who services it & he said what a load of old twaddle - he always uses the very highest spec oil & etc & they were trying to get more cash out of us, so we politely declined. Then yesterday they rang again, should we change the oil & filter, it looks a bit black 'only £50'.:mad::mad: You know if we won the lottery I wouldn't buy a car from this main dealers - despite the fact we bought all our cars from them in the past:eek:
New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear

Ouch!!!! That's a lot of cash to be paying out Sash, but a car is a necessary item, so it has to be paid. My OH couldn't function without a car, but it does make you question the garage when they keep " finding " things to do.

Good morning everyone, I have been absent without leave, this bug laid me out :(:(and if it wasnt that everything was arranged to bring oh downstairs into the garage, oops no, I mean care suite (sounds posh, eh?) Id have gone to bed. Anyway the move went smoothly and we spent our first night sleeping downstairs. I feel a bit better this morning so might start to put things straight again. Or not. Maybe.
Looks like youve all been having a good time with poles and drinkies, and Hello to all the newbies come and have fun on the best board going back later xx
