Hi everyone, cold here too (snot nose and red eyes type, not weather) thanks for the birthday wishes for mr i, He preferred the red wine to the carpet, to be honest. He had birthday candle in his weetabix (I know, should be more mature at our age ,but that passed us by) Cake at teatime when dgs is here. My daughter made me laugh this morning when she brought dads cards up, she said ''yesterday I dressed up in black underwaear and stockings and stilletoheels, Tony came home, looked at me and said 'Whats for tea, Zorro?' ''

Morning to everone, sunshine today but still have sore throat runny nose and eyes, but I have a hospital appointment this am -do I go and spread germa about, or do I cancel and wait another 12 months? methinks I go today, and hope not to infect too many peeps.
Electrician is here today to wire up the toilet. y e s thats what he is doing. It is a state of the art one which washes and dries your nethers, ideal for oh it dives him a little bit of privacy and dignity back.:T:T:T

Good morning everyone.

I am here PDD, just got up out of bed. I have been struck down with this tummy bug. I have felt a bit off it for a couple of days, and then yesterday.... well, the less said the better. I havn't eaten for 36 hours, and can only manage water, nothing else. I've had the grandchildren too, but I was in bed all day yesterday, OH had to cook sunday lunch, which he has never done in 39 years.........the kids ate it, so it can't have been too bad.!!
So no work for me today.

Hope you are feel ing better PDD and mrsi....... and that mr i had a good birthday. I could have done with his new loo yesterday, it would have got a lot of use I can tell you.

Right, need to go and shower and try and pull myself together, 'cos I'm still in my dressing gown.....Son has just rung me, he has appointment with consultant tomorrow. That was really quick, 'cos he only got the news on Friday, sooner the better as far as we are concerned.

Will be back later, when I have made myself into something resembling a person.!!!
