    HI All,

I've been away for work again - what a hectic week, don't think my feet have touched the ground. Then I've been so busy catching up at home today - not had a chance to come on here, I've really missed you all:(

Well it looks like I have a lot to catch up on, so will get a glass of chilled white and see you later!:j:j

Elsie, the prognosis for your son's cancer is very good. Keep your spirits up, but it must have been such a shock. We are thinking of you.

Nanna proposing to Nid - a prime mininsterial bigamist!

Grr, grr. Lloyds TSB whacking on full interest. I've been paying reduced interest since DMP started in Dec and now this (a plague on all their houses!) Bank of Scotland leaving messages saying I've missed payments. Just when you think its all going swimmingly. Guess that's banks for you.
    Love to you all

    Good morning everyone,

Just a quick note before the grandchildren get up...'cos then I don't have a minute to call my own. (lovely isn't it).:T

dmb.... thanks for your kind words. I think it came more of a shock because you never really want to think of your children being ill, and I would rather it was me than them. I've been extremely lucky, because not one of them has ever been in hospital or had broken bones etc. I feel a lot better about it too because so many people know or work with someone who has had this type of cancer and is fine now.!! So its onwards and upwards and whatever comes we will deal with it.:):)

Lloyds TSB never reduced our interest in over 2 years, and I think that between them and Clydesdale, they are the reason we decided to down the Unenforceability route. Banks certainly don't appear to want to help when things get tough. Its a pity our govenment didn't think that way when THEY were in trouble.!!:mad:

May get chance to pop in again later, but have a busy day again today, Should be back home around 7ish.

    Have a good day everyone:D

    Hi all:j

Special hi to Elsie; I am sure your son will be treated successfully, one of the main things that lecture I went to last week was about how cancer treatment success rates had gone up so much. Look after yourself too as you will have to be strong for him, sending every good vibe your way.

have a good day everyone, be popping back now & again:T

    Morning All

My nose is still running for Scotland and II now have a cough that would put a horse to shame, don't need this this week................ Hope everyone is well, Elsie keep that chin up (and shaved), Nanna stay off the roads please and welcome back Nanny. DMB and Sash, there only banks just kick them. I have found that you have to phone HBOS to renew your deal or they get upset, it appears they have very precise timescales as well, I phoned this month and I was 3 days too early to renew and had to phone back, honestly talk about making it difficult? Where are you Mrs I haven't heard?

    Good Morning,

Just caught up. Nanna as others have said I also know a couple of people who have come out the other side. Its very treatable. Keep Positive

PDP sorry to hear your feeling rubbish, hope you feel better soon. Just think how sexy that husky voice will sound:T

Up lateish for us this morning and trying my best not to be tempted by the shops today.

All quiet on the DMP front. Only the 2 letters, one a refusal of the payment offer, but thats all they're getting. No phone calls though which is very strange.

How do you make your DMP payments? Not sure whether to send cheques each month or set up standing orders
