No sun here either, working from home to-day so must try to concentrate on actual work and keep off here but probably won't. Weymouth, I've never been but looks nice on telly. That's the thing about travelling for work, everyone thinks it would be nice to visit all the lovely places, but I never notice, drive there, do work, come home...............
Cuaranta y Tres is a wee liquery, herby thing made by monks in Cartangna in Spain and its very popular as a wee aperatif, its lovely with ice, I always used to bring a bottle home but you can buy it in the big supermarkets. Its just lovely and very evocative of Spanish nights.

    Good morning everyone

Well I am back and it seems quiet on here while Elsie is away (I hope she is having a lovely time.)
I have been away for a couple of days doggie sitting for a friend (its much cheaper than owning one and its like other peoples kids, you can give them back when you have had enough:)) The problem was that their internet conked out for most of yesterday. Its amazing how dependent you get on it for outside contact.
Anyway I have come back to a letter from the OR saying that she can put me forward for early discharge (which is nice, it won't make a blind bit of difference to my life but at least it seems like a step forward) so I will get that in the post and then its just a quiet day, washing, hoovering etc.
OH got paid last night so at least we can pay the bills now (money was getting very tight coming up to pay day:eek:)
It really overcast but quite warm here today so I am off out now to buy bread and post my letter.
    Have a good day everyone

Hi all:j Hope you have been behaving yourselves (not). Had a day without internet, blech. Plus the cat decided it on our bed (on my side, natch) would be a good place to wee. He's done it before, no doubt it means he either really really loves me or really really hates me. Whatever, the result is the same - it went through all layers & even onto the mattress, how lovely TMI:eek::eek::eek: That kept me busy, no pole dancing, just washing,

On the finance front, thank goodness we finally got paid:T It seems a long time coming this month, have to put a lot away for the tax bill (due Sept).

Will be off up to sunny Edinburgh tomorrow, I know PDD has arranged some fine weather for us :rotfl:

Nanna - I know what you mean with glasses - unless you have bog standard lenses it costs lots. My last pair were £450 two years ago, cos I have varifocals.......and Gucci frames, but they only cost £120 - have to make these last a while yet I think:p:p

As you're all talking about G n Ts I think I'll have the last of my bottle of chilled white:j:j
