Back home from Wales, food was awful - gah - just had to wait until we got home. Tepid chicken stew in horrible gloop - with bits of bread to eat with it. That's it, nothing else. At HT there were slices of cake, so hungry I ate it, ah well will know next time to eat before we go there:D

We will be OK for car whilst in Edinburgh, will leave it at the place we're staying & get the bus if necessary. Have they still got all the centre dug up? It was last year but maybe they've finished.

Going to have a cuppa & try to get warm (without the use of the CH, obv):rotfl:

    Oh Sash

I'm very afraid not, if anything its worse. Council have fallen out with contractor, holes everywhere, roads closed, diversions, you name it, its preventing me on a weekly basis from getting around Edinburgh. We have to be there at around 8.30am, so going to be a bit of a nightmare, this is what happens when your OH want to do running..................

Oh rats I thought you were going to say they'd finished. Sorry for you folks having to put up with it all the time, what day is the run Sat or Sun? We'll probably go down there on Sat morning, but not at 8.30am although I suppose DD & friend could still be on their way back from a night out at that time:eek:
