That wouldn't surprise at all. Santander are keen to increase their market share of current accounts, savings, mortgages and branch network size to 15% asap.

Forget what I said earlier ... I thought I heard it on the BBC's 'Wake up to money' programme this morning but I've just listened to it again and zilch.
There has been some general talk about them bidding for bits that RBS want to part with. But nothing definite on that either (at this stage).

Well as long as they dont change the online banking to lloyds as theres is rubbish and looks very out of date compared to most online banking i have used;)
