Finding A roofer

Hi
we are in need of a new tiled roof on our london semi but don't know
of anyone we know who could recommend a roofer that would be reputable.
I posted a request on ratedpeople website to seek recommendations but all we got was a raft of calls from one man jobs who have little feedback on the rated people site.
It's a bit like pinning donkey tails - anyone have any suggestions?

Hi
Just had some work done on our house today - It was a flatroof but the roofers were great very professional and clean job. Tunred up at 7.30 as promised too.
We had 6 quotes done as there are so many price variations and alot of cowboys out there.
My advice would be to get a few quotes first definately.
We used JS Roofing Specialists and the guy was called James
Based in Farnborough hants.
