    thanks all for your input

well ive been having a good think and im going to go in for the next three nights, i HATE working nights but still. then i have two days off thurs and fri, then im not going in sat and sun as im suffering with stress from it all, then ive got my weeks holiday. ive decided im going to hand in my notice which is a week, so i wont have to go back there, and ill go and get a temp job from an agency or summin. Im going to try and keep them on my side till at least payday, cos im owed money for classes by them and he is the sort of person that would stop this going through.

this bloke has really got to me over the time ive worked there, im tempted to still go through with an herasment (sp) claim cos hes such an idiot and hes done it to far too many people now

Good! Keep calm when you give 'em your verbal bombshell.

It's always far more devastating when it comes with a cool delivery (and no swearing)....:D

i know i prob should have wrote stuff down. the main thing is there are other people seeing it for sure. i was going to see the manager tomo, but the thing is i dont want to work there next week, its really messed me up and im just a little sick of it all now.

im going to be leaving to get another job soon cos basically im being pushed out and they know this, they even keep saying, hows the job hunting going. but if i mess things up its 2 weeks pay i could miss out on because ive got a weeks paid holiday i need to take.

Will people ever open their eyes and see how pathetic they really are? I am very sorry for you. Easier said than done, but keep strong and fight back, do not let them just walk over you.

If they have given you the rubbish shifts, make it backfire on them.

Make sure they are there when you check the rota, then be oh so vocal about being really relieved you have got that particular shift. Wax lyrical about how much it will help you out to do that shift because you have stuff to do at whatever the other time is.

They want a reaction from you, but not that one. You never know, if they think the change in shift is helping you, they may just change it back to be awkward ;)

the worst thing is, ive explained my situation with my brother and that i CANT work nights. i need to give my mom at least 2 nights to go out even if its just round friends. i left a good paid job doing nights for this reason. i was working whatever nights i could, but now theyve changed them im not telling my mom she cant go out, so they will have to sort summin out

It's just temporary mate...you will be out of there soon......your Mum will understand that.

Keep your eyes on the light at the end of the tunnel (and your mind on the money!).

    Biglad,

Hope your ok, your family are more important than any job I agree.

Don't let them see that your under strain as this is what they want. The more stress they put on me I used to lock myself in my office and deal with things (normally my boss' work given to me at short notice). In the end they made me lose my office. That was the final straw, I did another 2 weeks, then sick leave for around 5 months and took legal action to leave.

When I went back to get my stuff I had one of the bosses, whom I'm good friends with now but we won't discuss work at all, and someone from HR - the one who refused to do her job when I asked her and my bully. Coincidence that eh! I went in and held my head high, and if anything it was them 3 that couldn't maintain eye contact, my bully was like a scared rabbit in headlight! And was terribly upset that no one told him officially that I'd left. He is now complaining that his new boss is ignoring him like he did to me for 2 years... :rotfl: Best thing is my friend the boss has now realised what a state the place is in and is looking elsewhere for a job... I hope to give him as much info against my bullies / mobbers to make their lives hard enough before he leaves. ;) Some of the info I have on them would actually loose their jobs due to their actions outside of work!

The main thing to remember is to keep your mind on money and family - organise a big day out with your gf, brother and mum; take your reference and run! It's their loss and your gain. It's only a few days really now and if you need to just rant and rave come on the board and we'll listen to you don't worry, and try to give you some guidance.

It's probably been going on for ages, mine had been going on 12 months before I complained. You don't realise that it's bullying until a bit later and the penny drops. You'll get through this, your strong and remember we'll be here to listen / read your rant never forget that.

Maybe if you have a chat with your mum and say your intending to quit soon she won't mind missing a night out with her friends just to let you have some money in case you can't get a temp job for a few days? You can help her out a lot more when your feeling better and more relaxed out of that job.
