Faulty Goods From Argos

Options
Hi Everyone,

I was given an electric shaver for xmas from Argos.

The battery only last for a a couple of shaves and it makes funny noises as if something is loose inside.

I want to take it back and get a replacement. I was wondering do they have the right to send it off for repair or can I demand a replacement in the shop?

I have the receipt/

Thanks!!

It's up to them, if they want to send it for repair. You only really get an exchange if it's under 30 days or if they do not have a repair service for the item

I think for something like that they will just replace the shaver. I've always found argos to be quite good abut replacements

For the record, technically you have no rights, the contract is between Argos and the person who bought it.

But yes, it's their choice whether they want to repair, replace or refund.
