I've found a garlic bulb that should've been planted in autumn, will it store for next autumn or is it possible to plant it now?
I planted some in autumn and it's doing well but didn't have space at the time for the 2nd bulb.
Cheers!

It definitely won't store so you might as well plant it out. It may or may not succeed in producing good bulbs. Most garlic needs a period of cold in order to form bulbs, otherwise you get one big clove.0

that's good to know i'll get on with it, it was -5 deg overnight so might still produce something!0

Only on a nothing ventured nothing gained basis, if space is tight then just eat it, otherwise worth a try
I do not eat garlic, hate the stuff, but did grow some to see if I could, as I loath it the thing came up, year after year
No doubt in your case it will just die

If you leave it until next year it'll flower and be useless.0 -
Yes plant it now, they do need a period of cold which given the temp. at the moment they will get !!!0
