Megatrain Do you get a Seat?

Ive got some Tickets booked on Megatain between London and Portsmouth in April and would like to know do you get a booked seat or if the train is full then would you have to stand?

I can not see anywhere on the Ticket to say if you get a booked seat or not.

No you dont. You ticket entitles you to travel but doesn't mean youl will have a seat. Depending on time of the day you travel and how close to the start of the route you travel would effect if you did. I have done this journey several times and only once I havent had a seat. Once you get out of london the seats tend to free up though. HTH.

You'll be able to sit anywhere that doesn't say reserved - and usually people just sit in the ones that are reserved anyway. You just have to move if the person with the reservation comes along.

May not still be the case, but there used to be a coach set aside for use by megatrain passengers. If there still is, you'd be required to sit in it.
