Disneyland Paris Annual Passports / Family discounts Euro disney Paris

Hi, i am new to this board so please excuse me if i am posting this incorrectly.

We are going to disneyland paris on 19.8.2006 for 6 nights (booked independantly) staying at the holiday inn. In total there are 8 of travelling, 2 families of 2 adults and 2 children the one little girl will be under 3. I have worked out we need 7 passes either Dream or Fantasy.

I wonder if anyone can help me.
1.Does anyone know if you can get a discount for a family and if so how do you prove you are a family and are there any numbers?
2. Would anyone be happy to sponsor us, i understand each passport holder can sponsor upto 3 people and they can then claim extra months on their passport. 1 sponsor = 1 month, 2 sponsors =1 months and 3 sponsors= 12months. I can download the sponsor form and have roughly translated it. NB. YOU NEED TO BE IN THE 2nd MONTH OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP TO BE ABLE TO SPONSOR, clever trick of Disney. I would of course be happy to sponsor anyone on my return.
3. Does anyone know if you buy a Dream passport and 3 fantasy passports can all your party get into disney 1 hour before opening and offer available to Dream passport holders and not fantasy.
If anyone wants any information about the passports please ask.
Thanks in anticipation for your help Estelle

  • Hi, I to am also fairly new to this board.
My husband and I both have Dream passes and would be happy to sponsor you (we bought ours 8 months ago)!

To answer your question, you can get 20% discount for every 3 people in a family/or living at the same address who buy a pass (they do not check that persons live at the same address).............So you could get 20% off for every group of 3 purchasing passes!
The Dream pass is very, very good! You get FREE rental of pushchairs and wheelchairs (only with Dream pass NOT Fantasy).
Dream also gets you loads of discounts and fastpasses.
Every Dream pass holder gets a gift...............Children get plush toy/Adults get rucksack or similar!!

I think all members of your party will get in the hour early, although i've never used this facility.

Oh, and Dream card holders get Free parking at any Disney hotel.

We always stay at the Holiday Inn in Disney, so any questions you have i'll be more than happy to answer!

    I've sent you a PM.
Please get back to me if you would like to go ahead with the sponsorship.

    Kind regards.
    :)

I am thinking of buying 5 annual passports for the end of may 07. Does anyone know if you can still get the above discounts, or any other information on how to get a discount.

    Thanks for any advice

  • Hi further to my previous post we went to Disney in August last year and had a fabulous time.

The annual passports are valid for 12 months, the fantasy costs £87 valid 335 days a year with blackout days and the Dream passport valid every day costs £120. However if you are sponsored by an existing passport holder you can get 10% of the prices of the passports Fantasy=£78, dream £108. The sponsor gets 1 months for 1 sponsor 3 months for 2 sponsors and 12 months for 3 sponsors.

Currently if you sponsor someone by 25th March 2007 the sponsor gets 12 months free for 1 sponsor.

As there were 7 of us we managed to get the 20% discount for more than five people however we had to prove we all lived at the same address, i kindly had someone sponsor us for the annual passports although you do not actually need this if there are 5 or more of you in one family. However i was more than happy to give someone else the extra months.

Our holiday in August for 6 nights 7 days cost for a family of 4, accomodation = £440 Holiday inn, flights £220, annual passports £307 (3 fantasy and 1 dream), transfers £78 (VEA) = £1045 which i thought was fantastic for 1 week in August

We are currently pricing going in June this year and as we already have the annual passes the costs for 5 days 4 nights Mon-Frirday are accomodation=£224, flights going to Orly (7am) and returning from CDG (7pm) =£221.16 so total costs = £445.16

If anyone would like sponsorship please post me

    Hi,
Can anyone advise current price of an annual ticket, and where a UK resident can buy an annual pass for disneyland Paris?

I can only see details on the french site, so wasnt sure it was available to us?

Thinking of going for few days now and again at Christmas so it may work out cheaper.

You can buy the annual passes at the gate, or buy a 1 day pass to get into the park and then visit the annual passport office at Discoveryland to upgrade to a pass minus the cost of what you paid to get in that day.

The current prices are on the following link (well it says upto 1st April 2010) Maybe the prices haven't gone up. I didn't look this year.

    http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/booking/annual-passports/

and the blackout days are listed here for the Francilian Pass and the Fantasy Pass, the xmas dates you want maybe not available for any pass holders except for the Dream pass.

    http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/annual-passport-blockouts/

The first link I gave you also has a guide on "Is it right for me" and the buying process.

I used my Fantasy pass for 2 years worth of holidays, June 2009 and May 2010 and we only ran into 1 blackout day out of the 20 days we went in.

I saved loads on carparking as well with the Fantasy pass and could also sleep in the carpark in my motorhome for free if we wanted.

Thanks Ben, that site had a lot of info that answered my questions.

I like the motor home/ car park idea....especially with price of onsite hotels! So they happily allow this then?
  • I am visiting Euro Disney from 19th August and looking for sponsorship for 4 people. I have read mixed information regarding whether I would need to take paperwork from a sponsor or if the sponsor needed to be there in person.
Can anyone clarify ? Can anyone help me with sponsorship for those dates ? Thanks

Your sponsor has to be there with you in person now when you buy your APs with the 10% discount.
  • Thanks for that clarification, still need a sponsor who will be there on 18th or 19th August 2010.
  • :j Going in a few days now and still looking for a Disneyland Paris annual pass sponsor for 18th August, or evening of 17th. Can anyone

help ???? Or know of a friend or relative local to the park who could

    offer sponsorship ?? Thanks
