Anyone with some advice. I was approached by a claims company to help me claim my PPI. Since I am in debt, I did not at that time think of doing some research. They sent me forms which I signed sometime last year. They asked me for more information which I provided. They took £150 from my account which they said was not refundable. Now I received a letter from my bank through them advising me that they have awarded me £7000 PPI and interest. The problem is I was still paying a loan and they took about 4000 to pay off the loan. They have now sent me a bill of over £3000 fee besides the £150 I have already paid them. They have started phoning me threatening me with legal suits if I do not pay them. I told them I have overdrafts which swallowed what was credited to my account. I could pay them by instalments, but I do not know whether they will charge me interest. I wish I had seen this site before then. I will have to pursue other claims myself with the help and advice from this site. Can anyone give me some feedback on how to proceed please.
