Travelling by train in America

Later on this year I'm having a fortnight in SW Florida and spending some time in Tampa. One of the places that we are visiting is Cypress Gardens which is located at Winter Haven. My son is 2 1/2 and loves travelling by train (sorry, the big choo choo thumbsup4kk.gif) and so I priced up the 60 mile journey by train just to see how much it would cost & the grand result for 1 adult and 1 child for a 60 mile trip ? $12 or £6.45. Plus if their is more than one adult travelling, put in the code H568 (courtesy of stupidspender on another thread) and the second adult travels free.

The train service in America (away from the cities) is fairly few and far between, and we're not talking high speed routes. But it is very relaxing, makes a change, and at these sort of prices, is dirt cheap.
