Would like to explore the possibility of installing automatic room lights any good makes in mind or ideas

maplins do a motion activated light switch for about 15 quid each.

I've got that installked in the toilet (my kids are incapable of pulling the switch when they leave)
The pull switch still overrides the sensor (for baths etc), but it is 6" long so the kids can't reachbaldly going on...0 -
so do you have to manually switch off during the day0

It has a built in photocell which can switch the lights off when not required.
I have got the photocell turned down (unused) as my bathroom has no window.
