DRO- What proof do i need?

Options
I posted this in DFW but it was suggested i post here as a few of you are intermediaries who might know more!

So....

Do you have to supply written proof of your outgoings when applying for DRO? I.e your rent and utility bills? Im just asking so that i can arrange to get these things before making my application as a lot of my stuff is paperless.

Thanks!

No. I understand thats it's the same as BR on this; they do take your word for it, but they have guidelines that they deem acceptable. They also look at the SOA as a whole.

So, for EG, they would not accept a single person in a one-bed flat/bedsit to have gas and electric costs of £150 a month. But if you were disabled and getting DLA and your condition determines you need to keep warm/hot, then its a different kettle of fish.

Put down what you spend on your SOA and post it here for others to look at for tweaking.
