If you have a bid then the bIN automatically disappears.

If someone has bid on your item, no-one else can Buy it Now can they?...as it isn't available to BIN anymore. :)

The bid was lower than the BIN price, and somebody wanted to buy it at the BIN price, so i wondered whether somebody could still buy it at the BIN price, im still a novice at this.

If they wanted it, they should've bought it when they had the chance instead of giving someone the chance to a) buy it before them, or b) (as happened here) bid and knock the BiN off the listing.

Basically, it boils down to the fact that the highest bidder wins. If there's a winner on the auction and also a winner on BiN you'd have a problem supplying 2 people with the same item.

I'm not sure where you are coming from here. How can there possibly be 2 winners? Also the BIN person would not have had a chance to use the BIN if they only became aware of the item after a bid was made.

Despite being given various theories as to why, I see no purpose in removing the BIN when a bid is made. As I see it should work, A bids £1, B bids £2, C goes for BIN at £5 and wins. Auction closed. Seller is happy, C is happy, A & B can bid on another item. Simple, no complications, nobody lost anything, no problem.
What is happening to the English Language? These are not isolated, but repeated every day.
'Definate', 'Aswell', 'Rediculous', 'Payed'...and the best of all 'Could Of'. How can anyone think that 'Could Of' can actually mean anything. You may as well write 'Could Zebra' for all the sense it makes.
