I have an Epson R300, its just outpassed its warrenty, the problem I am having with it, is that it will no longer print, I originally thought it was the inks, so I installed a complete new set of inks, the printer detected and installed them accordingly, it sets off as if to print an image or docunment, but still just ejects a blank sheet of paper, I tried replacing the print heads, thinking that may be the problem but I still get nothing, im at a loss what to do with it now. Although I now have an Epson R220, My R300 is still packed up and wasting away in its box, has anyone got any other useful tips that may solve the issue with my R300 short of sticking to my R220?

I have a R300, not had this problem, but had something similar on Epson 750. I cleaned the print heads about 10 - 12 times, eventually they came through. It turned out that the old cartridges had dried and blocked the print heads and the 'sponge' part behind them. A persistant clean sorted it out eventually. Hth.0

I tried cleaning the print heads and eventually bought a new print head, but still had no joy, i suspected a blockage but assumed a new print head would solve it, however i notice there is a kind of sponge part directly below the print head sponge, that is static to the actual printer, im not sure if thats the bit you mean, i cant seem to get it out and have only managed to clean that with cotton buds and a cleaning solution:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
