Options
I was going to book tickets for hubby and me to go to see Alice In Wonderland tonight at the Odeon.
We haven't been out for a while, both been ill and need cheering up.
But £10.35 each?
We'll stay in and watch telly instead.
I'll buy the film when it's on dvd......

That is for the 3D version at peak time with 'premier seating' though, isn't it ?

If you're happy to watch it from a DVD then you can't be that fussed about seeing it in 3D - you could see the 2D version in standard seating on a Saturday or Sunday for £6.60 at the Odeon in Festival Park, or £6.95 at the VUE in Newcastle-u-l (where they don't have different charges for different seats).

And it's cheaper than that if you can go outside of peak times

Cinema tickets are so expensive nowadays.

I only go on Wednesdays with friends, luckily we're all students, so it ends up being £3.20 each.

I suspect I will stop going to cinema if either of these were to stop.

I can understand why people wait for DVDs or pirate films.

We went on Saturday (2 adults, 2 children) and saw it in 3D in premier seats. £32 including booking fee, and well worth it in my opinion.
