Outside tap not working

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help before I call a plumber out.

My outside tap froze up in the winter and now when i turn it on the water comes out really slowly. Could it be something simple that I can have a go at sorting myself?

Any ideas greatly appreciated

Hi,
Needs stripping down, two potential causes:
1) It might be the washer has come adrift .
2) If it has a built in check valve then that might be blown .It would need a new tap in that case.

Or you might of isolated it (turned its water supply off) from inside your house & forgot about it....

Yes, i would go for the check valve, replace the tap.
