    Of course it may be better to ride a coaster that "gets on with it"
    Try Kingda Ka in the USA -
    Acceleration 0 to 128 mph in 3.5 seconds
    The ride is a mere 28 seconds long but you do get a fantastic view from 456 feet in the air before it dives back to earth (assuming you have your eyes open of course)

    It depends if they mean in distance or in time !! If time, then it is the Ultimate here in the UK @ lightwater valley theme park, Ripon ! (It is a rickety wooden thing, not for the faint hearted !!)
