Bank changing Interest Date do i have a case

Last year i consolidated all my debts into one loan and started to get on top of things. I was still using my overdraft to its limit but always made sure money was available for direct debits, charges etc. My bank always took Interest and Overdraft charges on the last Friday of every Month, and being paid on the 23rd of each month this suited me.
When the bank realised I was now not incurring their charges they changed the date the took Interest and charges from me to the 20th of each Month, obviously not expecting this this took me over my overdraft limit and now things have spiralled so the bank charges me over £150.00 in charges each Month.
Would i have a case to try and claim this money back from my bank?

They should have notified you in advance about the change of date for applying the interest and charges to the account. Have the dates of each statement period altered ? ( eg. is a statement period 1st to 31st of each month or something like 3rd to 2nd each month ? or a set number of days ?)
Which bank are you with ?
Are they informing you when you incur a charge and giving a certain number of days/telling you when the charges will be taken in advance each time ?LegalBeagles0 -
Sounds like RBS/NatWest which sent out information in Jan 2009 with regards to changes occurring in the way the charges were taken out to 21 days after the statement date. The charges information would come with the bank statement as well.0
