Who are the best internet estate agents

I'm thinking about using an internet estate agent for the sale of my house, in order to save on normal estate agent fees, and enable the property to be advertised on rightmove etc.

So far, I've looked at :

isold.com
housenetwork.co.uk
121move.co.uk

I've also heard that Tesco are planning on launching a service soon.

Can anyone recommend any of these, or any others ?

Thanks.

    iSold = Tesco

There are threads here recently discussing the benefit or otherwise of housenetwork - suggest a quick browse with the 'search' function, rather than having everyone post their thoughts again....

I would recommend The House Network. Found them to be really helpful.

Dont know about the others, but also really like the contol panel you get for marketing your house. Can easily change pictures/price. Also if you want to update any part of your house description it dosent take Teh House Network long to alter it for you. I submitted a description change at 3pm on Thursday and received an email back at 2130 saying it had been done.

Also any alterations show up on Right Move the very next day.

It's quite obvious that you haven't looked at isold.com or you would have realised that they are Tesco.

    Spam....methinks!
My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)
    Ignore......check!

    Rather blatant I would say........

    Spam........
  • Sorry to be naive, but I wasn't spamming. I have looked at isold, and they have a logo saying 'in association with Tesco' but I've also read that Tesco are launching a site with fees of £200 for a house sale (which is why I asked). I'm not sure why you think that this is blatant spam. What do you think that I'm 'spamming' ??

Thanks to others for you advice.

Links in signatures are not permitted either......I suggest you remove it.

If you mean the thread at this site that's titled "Tesco to sell your house for £200", then I suggest you read further into that thread, which was started before Tesco/Spicer's launch, in the last week or so, of their site.

Your 'other' thread promotes a converted chapel that you are selling in Bristol, and asks for feedback on your website.

You ask for pointers to the best internet EA, and iSold is first in your list, despite it not having launched yet, and despite the website still bearing a 'pre-launch' logo.

Tesco and Spicer are launching their service IN BRISTOL.

Therefore, I'd suggest you have some 'arrangement' with Spicer or Tesco that your half-million pound conversion will be one of the first properties they list in a blaze of publicity.....

    We'll wait and see.
