Today I was happily surfing when all of a sudden I lost my connection.Rebooted both the computer and my wireless router,got a connection for a couple of minutes and then lost it.Looking at the router the led to the extreme right changes from green,which it should be ,to red.Any ideas please?

Or it could just be that there is a problem with the OP's ISP!It could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

Strange.I`ve cooled it down now all the 4 green lights are working as normal.The computer says that I have a good connection to the router and it still refuses to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

Does it work wired? (after doing an ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew
Can you start, run, ping 192.168.2.1

You are trying to access the bt speedtester, when Firefox opens go to http://192.168.2.1 this will give you access to your router, from here you must change your username and password which your isp has given you, click save and your router will reboot and hopefully you will connect to the internet.0 -
