it's either too hot and overheating , but I suspect it's on it's way to your nearest landfill...

can you let a fan blow over it for a while ??

Or it could just be that there is a problem with the OP's ISP! ;)
It could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.

Does it work wired? (after doing an ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew

Can you start, run, ping 192.168.2.1

Try a repair (right click on wireless network icon)
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?

The following is the message I get when firefox opens

    BT
    SERVICE INFORMATION
    Close Window

You have been connected to this page due to one of the following reasons. You must now shut down your browser and Internet applications before attempting to reconnect.

    1. The BTWholesale access circuit to your Service Provider is currently down.
Your service should be resumed soon.
    Or
    2. You are testing your local connection to BT using
    ‘bt_test_user@startup_domain’
    Or
    3. You are testing your connection to your Service Provider using ‘bt_test_user@domain’ where domain is your Service Provider domain name.
    Or
    4. Your Service Provider is currently unable to accept your connection request please wait until service is restored or contact your Service Provider for further information.
    Or
    5. You have attempted to access an invalid Service Provider domain.
  • Hi
You are trying to access the bt speedtester, when Firefox opens go to http://192.168.2.1 this will give you access to your router, from here you must change your username and password which your isp has given you, click save and your router will reboot and hopefully you will connect to the internet.
