Selling car to "we buy your car" type company

Has anyone any experience of selling their car via one of these companies that offer a price for your car without buying another car? My sister wants to stop driving and doesn't want a lot of hassle when selling her car. She found a few companies on the internet that offer to buy the vehicle and pay the money into her bank account within a few days.

Any advice welcome!

    Hi
I know a few friends who have sold their cars to we buy any car.. They were really suprised at how quick and easy the transaction was..
They have a look around the car, offer you a price then take the car and put the money in your account..
Other people may have had other experiences though..
Also i don't think they will give you as much money for the car as would get for selling it private..

IMO sell it private unless it's a complete dog - WBAC etc just rip you off (paying even less than trade price for a lot of cars and picking out every single little blemish)
  • I know 2 people who have used them... the transaction was painless enough, however dont be blinded by any price the give you online.. As mentioned above, they "revise" the offer having seen the car in the flesh and pick up EVERYTHING and knock more than you'd have to conceede part ex'ing or private.
