Pint's treating me like a !!!!. Says riding there would be too busy. Well, what else am I going to meet on the road? Considering I cycled back from Asda through the biggest amount of cars I've seen (and most are !!!!!) I'll be fine, there are cycle paths and tracks off the road so I don't have to hit the trucks and stuff, I'll be fine

If you feel like doing it then go for it elfen!

Well I'm back from the pictures....A in Wonderland was quite good - Johnny Depp is fantastic (as ever) as is Helena Bonham Carter. The 3D effect was very good, although if you don't do well on simulated rides stay clear. A couple of the scenes left me quite dizzy. And no....I didn't scream. But I did duck.

Aaaarggghhhh. DD1 is cooking dinner but it would be easier to do it myself than to explain every step about 4 times (and then she does it her way anyway). Should be grateful I know. My bad.

Suzy, it doesn't matter as long as she learns does it? I always used to ask my mum and now she hates me cos my shortbread and pastry is better than hers :)
Linda, I'm really in the mood for a long long bike ride, and can always get the train home (and ifI do, I'll get off a stop early and cycle that bit home too!)

  • Afternoon all,

I've just got back from Sunday lunch out and I'm stuffed.

Exactly, if the weather is anything like it's been today it'll be gorgeous!

I've really got no problem with her asking, but when she asks and I've told (and shown) her and explained why and then she does the opposite then I do have a problem. Anyway....I'm sure it will taste delicious. She's doing roast chicken (thighs and drumsticks), roast veg (butternut, carrots, shallots and courgette), potatoes (for her), yorkshires (Aunt Bessies, for her) and gravy. Yum yum.

    :hello: Hello!

Back from our run, me and Ryan did 2.5k in 18 minutes, which I am very impressed with as he has never run that far before. :T

I can see I am going to have to train hard to be able to keep up with him before long. I really do hope he stays interested in it.

Two weeks to go till the Sport Relief Mile, and he can already run further than a mile - what a star! :T
