Nelly is right it is Belfast ('The George Best Belfast City Harbour Airport' to be exact .. or something like that). We have no other choice other than Gatwick though (charter flight). In answer to Panda it is £50 for us both (if it had have been each I would be more reluctant) ... I just did some checks with FLYmayBE if we booked the earlier one and had to upgrade at the airport it would cost about £300 .. I am definitely leaning towards booking both (at least I can reclaim the taxes and should therefore only be about £30 out of pocket

my cunning plan has been scuppered.
I thought about suggesting a BA flight from LGW to BHD via Man in mid morning rather than either of your alternatives, but cost wise it comes out at about £110 and it will involve a stop over in Manchester (hurray).
I feel that buying 2 lots of tickets and cashing one in may be your cheapest option, or doing the BA route the most convienient, either way, neither is ideal.
