Entered Wrong Details Capital One Application

Hi, I signed up for a captial one card, but in my haste & being on the phone at same time, I entered my salary wrong.
By quite alot!!!
I'd been accepted (credit rating is OK far as I know), but now I'm thinking, should I phone to explain my mistake, wiill it effect my application?
I honestly wasn't thinking straight, just didn't want form to expire!
Can anyone advise?
Also I haven't had a comfirmation email? am I meant to?
Slightly worried, am not sure to wait & see what I recieve, or to contact them via phone ASAP?
Will they understand?
(They have no email I can seem to find to contact them on!)
Thankyou

Yes you should let them know - you have a duty to do this now that you have realised your mistake.0

Ha ha ha ha you said you earned more than you do (it's always more never less isn't it?) and now you arer worried.
I would be too because it is fraud!0 -
I would let them know, there are checks made for consistency on these kind of things so it may cause trouble in the future if you don't.0

Dont panic just write and tell them. It happens all the time with applicants keying their own applications. I have heard of one person getting just about every question wrong. They know how easy it is to do (I have managed to put in my date of birth wrong on two successive apps which took a month each to sort out), if it was a paper application form and you wrote £200,000 instead of £2,000 then you might have something to be a bit concerned about otherwise it is nothing to them.0

Personally I wouldn't bother - so long as you can explain the mistake if they ask you about it.
Call me cynical, but I'm impressed that you remember the incorrect details that you entered at the time now but didn't notice it at the time

My hubby did it with his Barclay's application he put his annual income in instead of monthly:eek: It was accepted, but he went in to tell them the mistake. Anyway, the advisor sent it back to their applications dept. Anyway they they did the application again, but it still went through. This was a Barclay's current account bit different but depends how you feel.0
