I ordered a fault code reader for my OH on talktomycar.co.uk yesterday at about 12.30.
it arrived today at around 12.00. yes i did ask for express delivery, but that was fast!
also - the fault code reader was only £39.99 and we went to Halfords yesterday to price them - my OH asked the assistant for 'a fault code reader' and he replied - er whats that? i explained what it was and what it was for and off he toddles to consult with other staff. he comes back and leads us over to screwdrivers etc. naturally we hadnt looked there!
shock horror - the only one they had was £139.99!!! and a quick read of the info on the box convinced me , the internet one sounded better!
so it arrived today and OH and son went out to play - OH and son came in booted up computer and half hour later OH announced that the code reader had just payed for itself! we had a problem with the car in that the same fault kept coming up even though it had been fixed in the car! the garage were charging him for a - reading the code - b fixing the problem (but not clearing it from the car!) the code reader from talktomycar did this. so - its not only paid for itself - its saved money cos now my OH can ask the car whats wrong with it - get an answer - and fix it!
so thanks talktomycar - your service was excellent and your product was much superior to the one in Halfords and has saved us loads of money!
