Dover to Calais crossing

I am going to France for 5 days in September, just me, my 2 kids and my Micra !! I have been on the P & O website and the ferry crossing will be £50, which I actually think is a good price, but before I book it, does anyone know of a discount code I could use to bring it down a little more, or are there any voucher schemes on at the moment ??

Being a single Mum on a tight budget, the cheaper the deal I have the more money the kids can have in France. :T :T

Is the £50 the return fare?

Norfolk line which goes to Dunkerque is £38 return but its a little bit north of Calais so it depends which direction you're going in when you get to France

Yes, the £50 is a return fare.

I am going to La Bien Assise, Guines, Picardy, a Key Camp site, this is only about 12 miles south of Calais. Do Norfolk Line have a web site ?

This site is good about 8 miles from the sea. The beach at Sangatte is sandy and clean and you can watch the ferry come in. There is a main road all down that coast as far as you want to go.

The site has a small swimming pool with a sliding roof it is well kept clean small playground shop. The children should find friends easily.

City D Europe is just down the road.

We have always used this site as a stop off for comming and going . We have always said we should spend more time. It is part of the castles group.

We have stayed at Guines a few times. It's a nice site. We always go to Wissant beach which is about 20 mins drive. Great for the kids and the drive is also nice if you go along the coast. Have fun.
