There is a great site called Show Me How to Play which isn't generally free but it has a promotion on at the moment to download 5 tracks for free (well you have the option to donate to charity).

I can't suggest any because each online teacher, if you mean video tutorials, have different methods to teach and some people are more at ease with some with other.0

thank-you for these sites, I have an 8 yr old that is trying to learn, and we cannot find a guitar teacher in our town (the one we found refused to take under 10's as he said they waste parents money and want to play rock music
)...surely the point is to let them learn whilst they are enthusiastic (and if she does not practice or want to continue thats my issue)
So we are doing it from books in the library and videos on you tube, but the real thing would be better..0
