after going to look how much I could save by changing suppliers
I found out that the best tariff would save me £110 a year compared to £76 on the websaver 6
so because I'm £197 in debit it was not possible to pay at the moment
having that in mind I decided to haggle with British Gas.
they change me to websaver6 tariff and £50 to be credit on my account
just an email was worth £50 as I was going to stay with them any way.
I found out that the best tariff would save me £110 a year compared to £76 on the websaver 6

TBH I wouldn't have said you were in any position to be haggling to get any credit applied.
