TV bracket extended or flush

Friend has bought a wall mounted TV bracker for LCD TV , it is one that extends out and not flush
He says extend is better as it allows you to dust behind the TV more easily (have to admit this is something that i did not take into account regarding wall mounted TVs
So is it better to get the extend bracket or the better looking flush fit one?
I ask as the extend one protudes out a bit too much for my liking as i thought it was flush with extend facility - but this is not the case

as it allows you to dust behind the TV more easily

This is for a large flat screen tv , whose main job is to show the footy
while you sit back with a few cans , with your mates.

And you / they ... anyone is asking about dust :rotfl:

It all depends on its location on the wall to where the main seating position will be.

The extending bracket is more flexible because if the sofa or bed is off centre to the TV it is very easy to adjust to an ideal viewing point.

dust is always an issue, more bodies in the house you will get more dust, 90% of dust is dead skin cells.
Much easier to vacuum and wipe with the extending bracket.

I should point out make sure your walls are strong enough, masonry and not plasterboard. The extending bracket exudes more leverage on the bolts than flush brackets. Recommend resin and coach bolt fixing.
