Daughters car broke down .. Cant get her insuredo drive my car
Hi everyone, hope someone can offer some help 
My 20 year old daughter's Smart Car has broken down this afternoon, we think its something to do with the immobiliser ... Anyway, she desperately needs a car to get her to work and back, but I cant get her insurer or my insurer to put her on my policy to drive my car, which is also a Smart.
Apologies for my ignorance, but is there anything else I could try?

If your happy to let her drive it with TP only cover you can check and see if her policy gives her “driving other cars” cover, failing that you can get short term insurance from various places on the web.
Having said that, you might struggle due to her age, same with hiring a car. I suppose another option is a courtesy car from whoever is fixing her car or even a taxi!0
