Prices will depend on what time you travel, but as an example I've found:

leave Grantham 8.28 arrive KX 9.45 single adult & child £20.05,
leave KX 18.03 arrive Grantham 19.15 single adult & child £28.50

    this was on:
    http://www.eastcoast.co.uk/

If you have a family railcard these drop to £11.35 and £16.15

If you're likely to use a train in the coming year then it's probably worth buying a family railcard, there is an offer on for 25% off at the moment.

it will probably save you about £1 on this journey but worth it if future journeys are a possibility.

    For tube:
Kings Cross to London Bridge is about a 10min journey, and Guys is a short walk from there.

At the times you state, that journey for one adult and one child can be done for £48.55 total return. This reduces to £27.50 with a Family and Friends Railcard.
So a saving of £21.05 when using a railcard which currently costs £19.50 using the link above.

This info from East Coast Trains website. Some of these tickets must be bought from this website to get these prices.
