I have had a clubcard for a year. I do about 4 small shops a week at Tescos £5-£20. I have NEVER recieved a till spit in MY LIFE! Help???

I would imagine it might be because u r a regular shopper. Perhaps till spits are to encourage people who do not shop regulary at tesco, to do so. I may be wrong but know of some people who get alot and dont shop at tesco frequently

How do you do this lottery thing with the till spit? Can you do it at the checkout or do you have to go to the kiosk?

(Dumb question - shows I'm not a big gambler :o:D)
  • I got 2 last night (unusual for a Friday) spent £33!!

One is for 30 extra points if you buy Vaseline for Men Deodorant
The other is for 25 extra points for buying Kingsmill Sliced Bread!!

You just ask at the checkout as you do your normal shop. They print you out a normal lottery ticket on the receipt paper. It's all very clever.

I won £2.00 on the one I got with my till spit:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I got two yesterday - one for extra points for pampers nappies (which I buy) and another for extra points for a deodorant (which I use!).

It was only a small shop compared to normal though - and unusual for me to get til spits on a Friday as someone else has said.

Well done on your win :D

That's what I thought, that you can do it at the checkout, but when I asked a teenager at the checkout, he just looked at me as if I was mad :rotfl:

I handed over my little used clubcard today and asked to pay by credit card in the hope that it would generate a till spill for me, especially as the person in front was redeeming a lottery one. Anyway, the cashier, swiped my normal clubcard than overrode it by using my tesco credit card which is also my tesco clubcard.

So no till spills for me but never mind I had some nice toiletries today.
