Have been reading this thread for ages and trying all the tips So Thank you to all BUT - I think I must be the only person (apart from DH) who has never had a till-spit. Can anyone help me?
I've read they seem to come every now and then but I've tried giving my card first, buying a few things at a time, buying a lot at a time, even being really nice to the check-out assisstant in case she has a secret button she can press for good behaviour, still not one.(No seriously, I'm always nice to them, I know what it can be like serving the general public!).
I am at a loss but will carrying on reading and trying,

I used my Dads clubcard for the first time in months on Sunday, bottle of wine (and it was needed, lost electricity at 7 oclock, no computer so all that was left to do was drink wine!) just to check how many points were on it and how much were needed to bring it up to 150 (146 so only need 4). He did not get a statement last time because there were not enough points on his card.
The amazing thing is that his card (nearly 3 years old) procuced its first ever till spit, 25 points for sepending £1.20 on salad stuff, very useful.
So the moral of the tale is never give up hope. Also dig out all your card you have not used for ages and check the points total!:rotfl:

Thanks, Willl dig out an old card and try tomorrow.....

I'd definately say you were clutching at straws - in the nicest possible way of course. :rotfl: :rotfl: But I've heard that tills with odd numbers on them pay out more than the even ones

I must say that I visit several Tesco's in my area and have received them in 2 of the stores. More the stores than the area I think. Good Luck.
