Okay, I always shop at Tesco on a Monday or Wednesday and spend around £80 a week there - I haven't had a till spit now for over 3 months ? Any idea why ?

The same happened to me last year, I missed 2 whole quarters of till spits, not a sniff of one on a card that used to be prolific. The sad situation was mentioned on this thread in 2007, followed by my return with a vengeance in August! I think one of 2 things changed the situation (not sure which):

    a) we went on holiday for a fortnight abroad and didn't use Tesco for 2 weeks of course. Till spits churned out on my first shop on our return! But,

    b) I had also tried, just before the holiday, reconfirming my contact preferences on the Tesco website. Even though I didn't change anything in the tick-boxes I entered through and 'confirmed changes' - just in case Mr T had blocked that part of my card due to my high points balance or something!

Anyhoo, you could try reconfirming these details. AFAIK you go to Tesco Home, hover the mouse on groceries and click on my account, you should get a page of blue links about how your cc account is set up. Near the bottom one of the links says 'contact preferences', click on it and make sure that none of the boxes are ticked. Then click to confirm changes (even if you made no changes and the boxes were already unticked).

Worth a try & cheaper than going on holiday (although Mr T pays for a big chunk of our hols these days anyway!).

Does anyone know if the 175 points off 24 finish quantum dishwasher tabs will work with any finish ones, the ordinary ones are half price at the moment? Thanks

I don't know for sure but I think it may do, it's worth a try and if not you can always say to the SA 'oh I must have bought the wrong one, could you take this item off the total for me and I will buy it next time instead'. It doesn't take them a mo to void an item and it's better than buying something you don't want or having to queue at the CS desk to return it with some old story as to why you don't need it.

Some Finish till-spits even work against a purchase of Finish Diswasher salt!

I got 100 points wyb pampers nappies - my youngest is nearly 7!

But I think I bought a pack 6 months ago just for a nice amount of points combining, the computer obviously remembered it!

So that will be going on my swaps list on PTS (www.paidtoshop.co.uk) then....

The 100 pts on Pampers till spit works on the Huggies Little Swimmer Trial Pack, which is 78p and has a 50p nss moc in it dated 13/12/2010.

Oh yes, didn't think of that....I got another one on my other card.....but then I swapped them both for a higher amount money-off coupons than the 50p so I am happy. :D

Thanks for this though, will remember next time.

    Hi Oscar,
Have a read of the original post on page one (by me, many moons ago). That and the first few posts should explain all and some theories about when they are produced, how often, etc.

    OK I will

The Finish Quantum ones always have worked on any Finish in the past ...

Anyone been to Tesco? Is it till spit day? I haven't been able to go today but will take a visit this evening if I think it will be worth my while.

    Thanks all!
