Domino's Pizza Online Prices Dearer Than Menu

We were just pondering what to have for tea tonight and can't really be bothered to go out to the supermarket because roadworks near home have made the roads a complete nightmare.

Anyway we have a 30% discount code for Domino's pizza if you order online and spend £20+. We went on to see how much our pizza's would cost with the discount and online it say's a medium pizza if £15 but the menu price is £12.49 if you phone up to order, but if you phone we can't use the discount code.

I know they are offering a 30% discount but I think it's a bit naughty to hike the online price up.

As it happens a friend is passing Domino's on his way here so we've got the collection special of buy one get one free so it's only costing £6.25 each. (I know it's still dear for a pizza but the Meltdown Revenge are very nice indeed )

Anyway just though i'd post as I know some people on here have used Domino's in the past and they may not know that the online prices are dearer than phoning up and ordering.

They are very very nice though, but I would only pay on a BOGOF deal every now and again.

My local Domino's has been running a discount on takeaway pizza if you actually order in person. Btw, I love Domino's - almost lived on it (and other fast food) when I was in New Zealand.

They do have online deals which are quite good, £9.99 for any pizza (ie buy the extra large one) or on tuesdays they have buy one get one free.

Yeah the 2 4 1 Tuesdays are worth it as well.

I must admit though the pizza was delicious and worth every penny, they even put extra devil chillies on for no extra charge.

You could always do what many on here do call up and say you have a 50% of voucher and hey presto. They never ask Search the forums for it

I have found that the deals you can get if you call are never avaliable online. it is a real pain as online is simpler and you don't have to shout at them as they are always in the most noisy part of the shop...

We live in a technological world yet they can't sort out having the same deals available online as on their menu. that is pretty poor and not really fair.

The website is run by head office AFAIK, whereas most of the stores are franchises.

I don't believe stores have any control over what goes on the site, other than making up/delivering the orders that are generated through it.

Which is always great fun instore if customer's codes don't work, an order doesn't come through or the website goes down, as there's not a lot that can be done, other than letting tech support know.
