Robinson Way debt collection

Does anybody else have any experience of these people? They're chasing me up for a £300 debt which I can't afford to start paying until the end of this month, as they have been told numerous times. They are now phoning me up to 5 times a day, starting from 8am going right up until about 8pm. They are so rude on the phone although I have tried to keep them as updated as possible and I'm not trying to run away from this debt but its getting to the point now where I feel sick every time the phone rings just because of how rude they actually are. What can I do?

Do a search in the forum. They've been mentioned several times eg :

However your problem is not with them per se, more their methods. I would post on the Debt-Free Wannabe board where you will find better answers, this could possibly be construed as harassment by RW and they can help you on there.0 -
Write them a letter saying that you do not wish to conduct business by phone any more and any phone calls you recieve after the date on the letter will be regarded as harrassment and reported as such.
That gets them off your back for a while (by phone anyway)Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Hang up on them, you know they will still call you when you can pay, I would just keep hanging up until that time, might as well join them:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
