Royal mail - c****d up yet again

Hi guys

Sent a sat anv I sold on ebay to an address and wrote (60) for the house number on the packet, yet the receipt for POD says 10 for the house number. and the proof of delivery says it has been delivered to number 10, what the hell do I do?

I dont know how or who to contact or what to do

That's very odd. The packet should have been sent to the address that *you* wrote on the packet, not to the wrong address on the receipt. I'm sure custardy will confirm that the silver barcode thingy doesn't have the address, only your address label does.

Since the packet was sent to no 10 and your receipt says no 10 is there any chance at all that you mistakenly wrote number 10 on the packet?

you should have checked the receipt in the PO to make sure it was correct

contact the buyer and ask them to call at number 10. see if it can be sorted out that way

RM's EPOD doesnt list addresses so what you are seeing is a posties scribble on the form
although no address details should be put on this form
