    nothing to do with intelligence....
Don't you think it is helpful making HC13 aware of the consequences of multiple credit scores.
HC13 posted incorrectly regarding as how advisers advised on products
Independent does not mean whole of market
If someone is posting they have xyx qualification and then it is obvious from the post they dont have the knowledge to match the qualification of course it is going to attract comments.
Other people read this site other than yourself & HC13...do those other people not deserve correct information?

Thank you to those who replied with sensible things....I was mearly stating that HSBC had annoyed me. I have been shopping around so DIDNT stick to 1 tied provider as that would not give me the best rates. I also understand about suitability of each product and also how credit checks work thank you.

All I wanted to do is state how stupid HSBC systems are, but obviously you dont understand that

the dictionary definition of FORUM (which is what I understood this to be) is:
A medium for open discussion or voicing of ideas, such as a newspaper, a radio or television program, or a website. hmm, now I question if this is truley one.

I am not a failed adviser thank you and that has truley angered me you complete and utter idiot. you have no idea of who I am, what I am or what my life is and if thats all you want to say then I dont feel that you should participate in forums (definition above)

And as for not working when they were regulated I ceratinly was.

And YES I did work in compliance along with pensions departments etc.....

AS STATED I JUST WANTED TO MAKE THE POINT THAT HSBC HAD A SILLY SYSTEM AND AS ITS COME DOWN TO WHO HAS MORE QUALS ETC I CANT BE !!!!!D WITH IT AND DESPITE WRITING SOME VERY USEFUL THINGS, SUCH AS LINKS FOR SOME PEOPLE IN NEED OF WHERE TO GO ETC IN DRAFT FORMAT TO HELP THEM GET FURTHER INFO I AM QUITTING.....THANKS FOR THE WELCOME. HOPE YOU DONT WELCOME ALL YOUR CO FORUM USERS LIKE THIS. THIS IS THE RUDEST FORUM I HAVE EVER USED.

Based on the inaccurate information you have posted....It was probably Park Row, where they have been fined for their sytems and controls (compliance/monitoring)

If we can take anything from this thread its the fact that HSBC are a nightmare to deal with, they suck people in with their rates, an ex colleague of mine works for them and has huge cross sell targets for insurance even on the mortgages that dont go through. Recent stats suggest that only 40% of mortgages put via HSBC get declined which from what I see on the street doesnt surprise me.
